1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you use FunDoge features, you may provide:

• Hole name and code — when you create and publish a custom mini-golf hole via the Mint Link feature.
• Dogecoin wallet address — optionally, when submitting a hole for creator credit. This is entirely voluntary.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials. No account or registration is required to use FunDoge.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically:

• Log data — your browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is standard web server logging.
• IP address — collected by our hosting provider and third-party services as part of normal web operations.
• Cookies and local storage — we use browser localStorage to store your visitor count and game preferences locally on your device. We also use cookies set by third-party services (see Section 3).
• Game data — hole play counts (anonymous, no personal identifier attached) stored in our Supabase database.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We use the following third-party services that may independently collect data:

• Google AdSense — serves advertisements on our site. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites. See Section 3 for details.
• CountAPI — an anonymous visitor counting service. No personal data is transmitted; only a hit count is recorded per page key.
• Supabase — our database provider. Stores published hole data (name, grid code, optional wallet address, play count). Supabase's privacy policy applies to infrastructure-level data handling.
• Google Fonts — loads fonts from Google's CDN. Google may collect standard web request data.
• Cloudflare — our CDN and DNS provider. Cloudflare processes requests to our site and may log IP addresses per their privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Operate and improve the FunDoge game and website.
• Display published community holes and track play counts.
• Serve advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free operation of this site.
• Analyze aggregate usage trends (no individual profiling).
• Detect and prevent abuse or technical issues.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not use your data for targeted advertising beyond what Google AdSense does independently through its own systems.

3. Cookies and Google AdSense

This website uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your interests and prior browsing behavior across websites.

• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.
• You can opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies by visiting networkadvertising.org.
• European users may manage consent via the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework, which Google participates in.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. For more information, see Google's advertising policies.

We also use localStorage (not cookies) to store:

• Your last known visitor count (to display the counter if CountAPI is unavailable).
• Game state preferences.

localStorage data stays entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

4. Dogecoin Wallet Addresses

If you choose to provide a Dogecoin wallet address when minting a hole link, that address is stored in our database alongside your hole and may be displayed publicly as creator credit. Do not submit wallet addresses you wish to keep private. Wallet addresses are public by nature on the Dogecoin blockchain.

We do not use wallet addresses to track transactions, solicit payments, or identify individuals.

5. Data Retention

• Published holes — stored indefinitely unless you request deletion.
• Server logs — retained for up to 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes.
• LocalStorage data — stored on your device until you clear your browser data.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of data we hold about you.
• Deletion — request deletion of your published holes or wallet address from our database.
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Objection — object to processing of your data for advertising purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

FunDoge is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older, or the minimum legal age in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. International Users

This website is operated from the United States. If you are accessing it from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using this site, you consent to this transfer.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA): our legal basis for processing is legitimate interests (operating and improving the service) and consent (for advertising cookies, where required).

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal information is collected and how it is used.
• Request deletion of personal information.
• Opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
• Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

Our site may contain links to third-party websites (TipStreams, Dogecoin resources, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
